These AHPLEX Terms govern eligibility, examination requirements, academic integrity, payment obligations, completion requirements, and related policies for candidates participating in the AHPLEX process.
Applicants must satisfy applicable professional qualification requirements and submit any required supporting documentation. Required documentation may include prior education records, professional experience information, valid government-issued identification, and academic transcripts where applicable and available.
Candidates are responsible for ensuring they have the technical capability to complete the examination. AHPLEX requires a compatible computer, a stable internet connection, an updated operating system, and a supported browser. Chrome and Firefox are supported. Safari is not supported. Browser pop-ups must be enabled or disabled as instructed in the examination guidelines, and candidates must meet any additional technical specifications provided before testing.
The AHPLEX consists of sixteen (16) separate test sections totaling more than 1,200 questions. Question formats may include multiple choice, true/false, and fill-in-the-blank items. Total examination time is approximately seventeen (17) hours and twenty-five (25) minutes, subject to section-specific timing rules.
Candidates are permitted up to two (2) attempts per test section. All examination sections must be completed within ninety (90) days from the date login credentials are issued.
One thirty (30) day extension may be granted for completion of tests or required coursework only. Extensions do not apply to payment obligations.
If additional coursework is required after 2 unsuccessful section attempts, that coursework must also be completed within ninety (90) days unless otherwise stated by KCNH.
Candidates must follow all examination security requirements and platform rules. During testing, candidates may not minimize or resize the browser window, open new tabs or programs, take screenshots or screen captures, or use prohibited keyboard shortcuts or other methods intended to bypass platform restrictions.
Security violations may result in warnings, termination of the examination session, invalidation of results, or other administrative action.
Only permitted reference materials may be used during the examination, as specified in the applicable exam instructions. Unless expressly authorized, online resources are not permitted during testing.
Candidates may not share examination content, use unauthorized materials, attempt to circumvent security measures, or allow another person to take any portion of the examination on their behalf.
A minimum score of seventy-five percent (75%) is required to pass each section. All sixteen (16) sections must be passed to complete the AHPLEX process.
If a candidate does not pass a section after two (2) attempts, additional coursework will be required. Required coursework is provided without additional tuition charge unless otherwise stated. Such coursework is self-paced and must be completed within the applicable completion period. A minimum score of seventy-five percent (75%) is required where graded.
The total AHPLEX examination fee is $7,995.00. Candidates who pay in full at the time of enrollment will receive a ten percent (10%) discount. Payment Plans are available at no interest.
Textbooks and other required materials are purchased separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
Payment must be made through KCNH’s approved digital payment system in accordance with the applicable Payment Terms. Full payment is required before degree conferral.
If payment is not made according to the agreed schedule, enrollment may be archived. In that event, amounts previously paid and any completed tests or coursework may be forfeited, and reapplication may be required at then-current tuition rates and policies.
A candidate who cancels before the first test attempt may receive a refund of fifty percent (50%) of amounts paid.
No refund will be issued after the first test attempt or more than thirty (30) days after the first payment, whichever occurs first.
Degree conferral requires successful completion of all examination sections, completion of any required coursework, full payment of all applicable fees, and compliance with all examination policies.
Degrees and transcripts are generally issued within thirty (30) days after all requirements have been satisfied. Only one degree may be obtained through the AHPLEX testing process.
KCNH reserves the right to verify submitted information, require additional documentation, modify examination content or procedures, and take administrative action for security violations, policy violations, or other legitimate institutional reasons.
KCNH may revise these AHPLEX Terms from time to time by posting an updated version.
By proceeding with the AHPLEX examination process, the candidate acknowledges and agrees to comply with these AHPLEX Terms, applicable KCNH policies, examination rules, grading requirements, and financial obligations.
Questions regarding AHPLEX may be directed to AHPLEX facilitator through the contact information and form published on the KCNH website.
